Walter Pidgeon, Leslie Nielsen, Jack Kelly, Earl Holliman, George Wallace, Jimmy Thompson,

I was talking to my mother the other day, and the topic was Sci-Fi films and of course we went through all the usual lists for example Star Trek, Aliens, Predator, you now the same ones that every one knows.

We got on to my favourite Sci-Fi film “Forbidden Planet” and to my horror, my mother had never seen it! Now this had to be rectified as matter of urgency and was promptly given my copy to view. And the review was? “It was OK” was the response (I was speechless).

This got me thinking, I wonder what the best Sci-Fi film in the world is. Well I would love to know your thoughts on what that film is and why.
