This is one of the funniest TV shows I have ever seen and I recommend that you see it as soon as you can.

Who Do You Think You Are?
So the secret is out.
We knew it was not the government policies or the campaign promises that brought Obama to the Whitehouse. We know that absolute power corrupts absolute all you need do is look at previous president’s, but could this be the future that we need?
Logical, calculated and no emotions to cock things up.
Despicable Me – ‘Banana’
I bought Despicable Me a few weeks ago and it is a fantastic move the comedy is spot on and the animation is excellent it’s a good family movie full of action and again comedy that the full family can enjoy.
On a side note I love the Minions they steal the show several time in the movie also on the disk there are a few mini movies and Banana (below) is one of the three and every time I watch it it makes me smile.
I defy you not to do the same.

The Big Tidy Up
“This was first posted 5th December 2010.”
Just like every bloke in the world I tend to let (as my wife is always saying) let things build up about my ears. There is a small task that I have been intending to do and have just let it slide and slide and slide until it has become a huge task. The Category’s and the Tags on the site have become a mess so I must now spend some time doing a tidy up. So if you cannot find something this is probably the reason why.
OMG! Kitty
I quite like the Russell Howard show which puts a stand up comic’s spin on the weeks news and things found on the web. One of the regular items on the show is this little kitty that is normally shown when Russell is reinforcing a surprise comment or reaction.
Personally I think some one has told the little kitty she has a big bum.
Skyline
My good lady and I went to see the film Skyline last week and after some deliberation I find that I can not recommend it, And must advise that you do not waste your money. However I will admit it was not a terrible film it was just not as advertised.
When I say not as advertised I mean it was not what I would call a SCI-FI film, Sure it had cool space ships and cool aliens and some real cool special effects but these elements were not the story, They were what I would call the stressor. Now the issue I have is the stressor in this film could have been anything for example war, murder, robbery, even a car accident. As I said the aliens and spaceships were merely the stressor not the story, I would say there was not a story (There was what I would call a weak outline) it was more a exploration of the human condition and how people interact when presented with a external stressor where they have no control, so as I say not so much a film that fits the standard SCI-Fi genre definition.
The other big issue I have with this film is there was no conclusion or specific comment on the moral actions of the character’s the film just ended. I am unsure if this was intended to get the viewer to envisage the next stage based on what experience they took from the film or alternatively it has been left as such to ensure the possibility of a sequel without giving any clue to a possible plot as the end was so ambiguous.
Pssst…Christmas is on the way.
Hey guys just in case you have not noticed, I thought I would just give you a quick heads up – It’s only one month to Christmas Woo Hooo!
Desert Island Dilemma.
So it’s official the zombies are loose, the government was testing a way to make the population docile and compliant. The Government have Partially achieved this with X factor or Big Brother and have achieved a high percentage of the population that believe all they say. However there was a minority that refused to concede and view the mind wipe programing as they wished to retain the capacity for rational though an to be able to question all that they are told.
So as usual as with everything the government does things have went pear shape and the zombies are loose. You have the opportunity to flee to a desert island where there is no infection or government but there is limited space in your method of transport. you are allowed 1 person and 4 items or you may omit the choice of brining a person and may increase your list to 10 items.

Your Guilt Will Remain Your Secret!
Divorce 101
Laugh I almost cried.
A pharmacist walks in to his store late and see’s a man standing in the corner frozen still with a tear in his eye. He walks up to the gentleman and asks “Good morning sir are you ok? Can I help you?” The man responds “mmmmmmmmm”.
So with some concern the pharmacist walks to the counter and asks the assistant “What’s his story?” she looks at the pharmacist and responds with a matter of fact tone ” oh yeah he came in about an hour ago asking for a cough bottle.
I tried to explain that I can not sell cough medicine without the pharmacist on site and he started getting stroppy so I gave him an alternative” the pharmacist asked “What type of alternative did you give him?”
She replied “Ajax extra quick-super strong laxative and took the bottle” the pharmacist replied “You did what? You fool a laxative is no replacement for a cough bottle!” the assistant looked at the customer and pointed “look at him he is now to terrified to cough so it worked fine didn’t it!.
Zombies Are You Ready?
I have a developed a new interest whilst I have been absent well not really a new one but with more interest and passion perhaps and the focus of my new interest is zombies.
I do not refer to the zombie that is the teenager that is present in the back bedroom where you are forbidden to visit and if you do you are almost guaranteed that you will get your head bitten off.
I refer to the zombie that has died and through whatever established method works for you is reanimated with the intention of eating your flesh or brains. As you may or may not know there are many types of zombie from the shuffler to the runner (which I find the most disturbing) or to the bits of zombie which is a mutilated zombie that still has a head and possibly a torso but no limbs but would still like to feast upon you.
I have noticed that it is not just me that has this new interest as there seems to be more and more television shows both entertainment and factual. There have been several new movies and believe it or not on Itunes there is under the university tab a course on zombies from the university of Alabama.
So what’s your thoughts on the zombie increase?
Do you have a way to survive the zombie apocalypse that is to be in man kinds future?
And finally do you have a zombie movie you would recommend?
Rocky Horror Picture Show
The Rocky Horror Picture Show has been a favourite of mine for some twenty odd years now and I believe it still stands the test of time. Tonight I went to see rocky live at the kings theatre in Glasgow and I have always had the concern that a stage show would not do the movie justice.
I must admit that the show was fantastic and did not attempt to mimic the movie but I think instead it tried to take inspiration from both the movie and the original stage show. This is a night out that I would recommend to any one however there are a few scenes that are a bit on the rude but incredibly funny side and the Glasgow audience added some quips that might make a sailor blush as you might imagine.
If you are lucky enough to have it come to a theatre near you and you fancy a good laugh and some great tunes you could do a lot worse.
Hello My Name Is James And I Am A…
Amazonaholic.
I just can not get enough of amazon.co.uk they have just about everything you could possibly want to buy and then there is the stuff you buy you did not know you needed.
I love music and movies and technology and spend all my allowance that my good lady Catherine gives me on this site.
At this link below can see a great thing that amazon do called a wish list a great thing for letting the family and friends know as it helps out on those special days and allows you ensure you do not end up with a dozen woolly jumpers (not that I am knocking them).

So you have seen my list on amazon, Do you have a list?
The Internet That Time Forgot.
I have been here on-line for the last hour or so browsing the web and have just realised that I have achieved nothing. I did not go online to do a specific task just to check a couple of the websites that I follow and then basically burned forty minutes doing nothing.
When you sit in front of the world wide web do you only do so to achieve a specific task or do you find yourself burning time and how much time do you think you loose to this? Is this done during the day or night? Do you put other things off to do so?
It’s about time
Well I know it’s been a while but I have been unable to continue with my blogging for a while due to I’ll health an to be honest things are still a bit rocky, however my beloved wife Catherine bought me a early Christmas present as she thought it would make it easier to be able to access the web while sitting in my chair rather than using the family p.c. or a laptop.
I am typing this out on the new apple Ipad using the word press app and it is so easy to use. The touch screen is a pleasure to use and you can type at a reasonable rate.
There is if course all the multimedia and diary and email and web browser all in the same little box if you are considering looking at one and it’s within your budget I would recommend it.
The only thing worth noting is the Ipod & Ipad does not work with flash due to some spat with Adobe And Apple.
Still alive
Hi just a quick line to say I still around and apologise for not posting for some time as I have not been keeping to well but will be returning as soon as possible.
Star Trek – Quick Episode Guide
A New Year.. A New Job?
So just for for the sake of conversation let’s assume two things, you are no longer employed by your previous employer and because the way this change in employment was communicated to you, and after a short investigation the courts have awarded you £/$ 2 million vat/tax free. However there is a condition that you must have some type of employment for at least part time hours ok!
I think I would invest some of my money into my own business. I might open a model shop or a small computer shop or something in between, Work the hours I wanted and be my own boss basically turn a hobby into a job.
What Would You Do?
That’s A Bit Rough…
Get A Baby Sitter And Go……
Well one of the things I did while on my break was to see a few movies and the one I wish to touch on is Avatar. I went to my local IMAX at the Glasgow Science Centre and as usual it did not disappoint.
Now not only was it Imax but also in 3D yes that’s right A 3D IMAX film and I must admit it is absolutely amazing. I will not discuss the plot as there is nothing worse so if you have not seen it go, I recommend that you see it in a theatre as soon as possible.
